I am updating my bathroom, and I wanted budget friendly sconces in black and brass. I found this set and got them with a 10% off from the current $49.99, plus tax, so I got two sconces for just under $50.. They came fast, well packed, and no weird smell, BUT I was disappointed that the metal plate did not match the prongs to connect the metal plate to the light holder. So, I returned, and got a second set.The second set arrived promptly, well packaged, no weird smell, and again I was disappointed that they had the same issue as the first set.I did search high and low to get different sconces, but I was unable to find anything that was under $50 dollars that would fit the look I was going for, soooo I decided to keep these.I had to use a small diagonal cutting pliers to alter the holes and make them bigger so I could fit both metal plates into the prongs so I could fasten them to the light fixture. This was very annoying to do, even with gloves I manage to cut myself, but I was able to do it.The other issue I had was that attaching one of the light fixtures to the wall, unfortunately my wall was very close to the casing and it made it difficult to screw the small screw to the plate, if you have a wall like mine, then I will recommend to look for either screws that go on the bottom or to get an L-shape small screw driver to help you screw the fasteners a bit more easily..But other than these two issues (one not really the light fixture fault) the sconces were easy to connect to the electricity and they look nice.!The sconces fit the aesthetic I was going for, so I am happy with the end result.!If both metal plates fit exactly as they should I think they are worth the price, but since (in my case) they did not, then I believe they should be at a lower price. Some quality control needs to be implemented there as two sets had exactly the same issued.!!
