The lamp seemed fine for about 12 months, but one day after I returned home from work, I noticed a terrible acrid smell filling my living room, and the switch appeared burnt inside! I had only been away for six hours. I’m concerned about what could have happened if I’d been gone longer.

The lamp looks great and has a long cord. The on/off switch doubles as a rheostat (dimmer dial), which is a nice touch. It also came with a lightbulb included.

The lamp is quite small but functions just as expected. It arrives in a compact box with the lampshade rolled up, so you should lay it flat for a while before assembling. The lampshade is on the smaller side; I should have double-checked the dimensions before purchasing, but it still looks nice. Assembly was straightforward. The shade has a thin Velcro strip to secure the ends and small clips to attach it to the top and bottom. To assemble, remove the screw base where the bulb fits, slide the bulb holder from the top through the wire piece with a hole, then reattach the screw base to fix it to the frame. Insert your bulb, hang it, and turn it on. I didn’t use the two plastic ceiling mounts because I already had a hook, so I’m unsure how those work. This light is extremely lightweight and replaced a larger glass fixture. It’s affordable and works well. ;)

I absolutely love this product and bought two of them. It requires full assembly, but that only takes a few minutes. I appreciate the clear cable and the switch on the cord that lets you adjust the brightness. Hanging it was easy using 3M removable wall clips. It’s durable and includes a nice bulb that provides excellent lighting for any task. The size is perfect, and the design is attractive and adaptable. I would definitely buy more. It looks exactly like the pictures! Love it, love it, love it!!!

This light is very cute. It’s not as large as the photos suggest, but that wasn’t a problem for me. The size turned out to be just right for the spot I wanted to place it. Considering its size and materials, the price was reasonable. Assembly was easy, and there were no bent parts, indicating decent quality. I hope it lasts for several years; with proper care and cleaning, it should endure. The shade is made of a plastic-like fabric with a Velcro closure. It comes with a bulb and a dimmer switch, making it perfect for adjusting between low and full light.
